Ok so Autumn isn't in full swing yet, but I bought this cardigan the other day from New Look as it just looked and felt so cosy! I wore it with my cropped striped t-shirt from Monki, however I have now found a little hole in it, which makes me sad - it's such a nice top, may need to buy a new one.

Outfit - The Roll Neck
For a while now I've really liked the look of a roll neck - love a 60's vibe. I finally gave in, and bought one from River Island, what do you think?
I love the colour, it goes perfectly with my skin tone, and even more the polo neck doesn't look horrendous, which I was worried about. I just wore my black Jamie jeans, my black felt fedora and my Domino boots from Office.
I bought the top from River Island for £15 and it also comes in brown, black, navy and grey. I prefer the purple/red to just add a bit of colour to my wardrobe, but I might pick up the navy one too. This is the beginning of me buying all my basics again as I haven't got many now and everyone really does need their basics!
I wore my long gunmetal and sparkly necklace from Mint Velvet, and I think it adds to the outfit, without it, the outfit looks a bit old fashioned.
Have you gotten into the roll neck trend?

Kimono Lovin'
Last Saturday me and the boy went to Bournemouth for the day, it was baking hot, the beach was packed so we went around Bournemouth town for most of the day. We stopped for lunch in 60 Million Postcards, which is such a nice pub, with board games available behind the bar and nicely priced food/drink.

I had the beef burger with Chorizo and Halloumi and it was lush, along with an Aspall cider - Yum!
This is what I wore...

Now I absolutely love Kimono's I think I have a serious problem! Whenever I see one I want it so bad! I have stopped myself recently from buying anymore as my wardrobe is packed.
I decided to wear this long kimono which is from Primark, as it brightened up a dull grey dress. Don't get my wrong I love the dress but it definitely needs brightening up.
I find it really difficult to dress for hot weather as I don't like wearing shorts (even though I own a few pairs and wish I wore them!) so this dress was an easy one, it is long enough to cover my thighs, and because it's plain I can put it with all of my kimono's!
What have you been wearing to keep cool this summer?

Favourite jumper ever alert! Just like the Givenchy Bambi jumper, but a FRACTION of the price. It cost me a tenner from Primark! I know, amazing. I actually prefer the Primark version to be honest, not only because I could afford it.
I wore it simply with leggings and my Topshop boots. Whatcha think?

Loose lips sink ships
Happy Tuesday!
I've been on a Fall Out Boy and Paramore music fest, hence the F.O.B lyrics as a title, I forgot how good they were! Anyway whilst buying some pj's in Primark yesterday I stumbled across a gorgeous midi skirt. Now I'm not great with midi's as I'm only 5'2'' tall, so I feel that they can sometimes swamp me a little bit, however this one from Primark seems to fit quite nicely.
It cost £8 which is pretty reasonable, I love the acid wash tie dye effect with the electric blue - gorgeous. I'm really surprised with Primark at the moment, I've managed to find quite a few good pieces in the last few weeks, so well done Primark. - Haul video coming soon, hopefully, once my mac stops being a pain!
I also bought some dotted tights - at long last! I've wanted them for ages and haven't been able to find any, anywhere - until now! They were £2.50 which isn't too bad, but I think I'm gonna have to buy a few pairs, seeing as they will most probably ladder.
I wore the outfit with my Topshop boots - which is pretty standard for me at the moment. I think I will always have to wear this skirt with some sort of heel, otherwise I will look tiny and even more weirdly proportioned.
I also wore my trusty Primark gold necklace, which I bought years ago and is still looking great. I have decided to stick to a few bits of jewellery instead of buying loads of different pieces, I'm going to go for more statement pieces. It will hopefully save me money in the long run!
You may also have seen that I've had my hair cut! Yay. I got it done in Rush Southampton, a hairdressers that I have only been to twice, but it is the best place I've ever had my hair cut. I wasn't sure on what I wanted, so my hairdresser; Katie, said to keep the length (just take off what was needed) and maybe cut in a side fringe. I am so chuffed with it, she even curled it for me and told me where to buy velcro rollers so I can achieve this look myself! I highly recommend Rush salons, they are so professional and friendly (and they offer 25% off for students, and if you're not a student they're different deals)

Outfit Post #4
I'm not sure how many of you know, but I'm not the biggest fan of H & M; well I haven't been in a while. However whilst I was in town with Granny Gee yesterday, she dragged me in there, and low and behold, I found something, that I actually liked!
Well two things, first off I found a grey maxi skirt, and then I came across this simply cute maxi dress. There was a choice of two colours, dark grey and this forest green, I went with the green because it can go with a lot of things, and green is a colour I love to wear.
I tried it on and it fits nicely, a slight problem with the size of the arm holes (you know which part I mean, the bit under your armpit). They are a bit large, and you can see my bra, which is why I've worn this dress with a blazer.
I couldn't believe my luck, I never find anything in H & M, and I managed to find two things on a whim! I am really chuffed with it, I love the slit up the side, which gives it a sexy edge and also makes me look tall!
Like I said, I wore the maxi dress with my trusty light grey blazer, from Topshop (old). I love the grey with the forest green, it blends really nicely. I decided to add some gold, just to create a bit of warmth within the cool tones. I chose some bracelets, I bought from Primark (£3 a pack) a while ago, then I added another Primark favourite, my gold chain necklace, which I have had for donkey's years!
I think it brings the outfit together really nicely. I also wore my Topshop boots (similar here), they have lasted so long now and they are still going strong, very comfortable and versatile. They work really nicely with the dress as it gives me a bit more height. Which is very much needed!
I am so happy with this dress, I can imagine it becoming a staple in my wardrobe, and I was close to never finding it - Lesson learnt, go in shops you don't usually go into, just to have a look around, you never know what you might come across!
Have you found any bargains in shops you don't usually shop in lately?

Outfit Post #3
Another long time since my last outfit post, but i thought I'd introduce you all to my new bowler hat! My sister bought it from Topshop, but she decided she didn't want it. Lucky me, seeing as I've been trying to find one for ages that does cost £20+. So it was free!
Today I wore my alphabet shirt, from Primark £12, which I love, as the baggy fit looks nice tucked into my skirt, which is also from Primark for a measly £6. I threw my really old grey Topshop blazer on top as it was chilly today, and then also wore my River Island coat! I wore some New Look tights, and River Island boots, with silver studs (£65). Then I was ready to roll.
I went into uni for a few hours for a visual merchandising lecture/seminar and back home to do uni work all evening!
I've decided I want some dotty tights, I think they're really cute. Has anyone seen any cheap ones in Primark or anywhere?

Party Dress
Sunday was a special John Lewis party, at the Grande Cafe in Southampton, it was a really great evening, with two free drink vouchers and a free 'John Lewis' cocktail on the way in. There was a sweet stand, with loads of yummy sugar filled treats waiting to be eaten and a raffle with amazing prizes including a Mulberry handbag and purse (which I sadly didn't win!)
The party was for our Southampton branch, as we had won a data capture competition, I do love working for them...seeing as the benefits are amazing.
Anyway I had nothing to wear, so whilst at work on Sunday, I ran around the store trying to find something and I stumbled across a gorgeous lace number by Oasis.
It was fate, a lady bought it out of the fitting room, I looked at the label and it was my size, I tried it on and it fit like a glove!
It was £55, however with the edition of my discount and an extra 20% off brought it down to £33, on my lunch break I bought it and couldn't be happier. It was a perfect length for a 'work do' (didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the big bosses!) Also it shows off the bottom of my tattoo which is even better.
It also had a cute cut out back to it, which made it even more adorable., just high enough to not show my bra off! I love this dress so much, Oasis you have done well. I wore this dress with my pair of New Look simple black heels.
I'll leave you with this very blurry photo of a few of the JL ladies from my department.
