Coveted Coats

coveted coats featuring, Garard Darel, Warehouse, Topshop, Noisy May and Vila

After leaving my house yesterday I couldn't believe how cold it had got! Bruuuur. So I have found a few coats, that I love love love. Ok I do have a Gerard Darel coat in there which costs £365, which is so far out of my price range it's ridiculous, but we can all dream right?!
As you can tell I have a thing for leather and tweed, they are my two favourite things in a coat - oh and warmth of course!
Is there any coats you are coveting at the moment?

Primark Autumn Winter collection

Has everyone seen this amazing collection from Primark? I could not believe my eyes when I recently saw the photos of the grudgey winter style file.
I couldn't be more in love with certain pieces in the collection, which include leather look skirts, tartan, dark geometric shapes and lace. I can't actually pick my favourite piece, they are nearly all amazing. They seem to have gone in a more 'Topshop' direction with their styling and colour palette.
Here are a few of my favourites from the look book, dark and sombre with a hint of glamour.
What do you think? These are due to hit Primark in the next coming weeks, along with some amazing accessories.

Ever yours, Ever ours

This is my outfit today, I'm wearing a brand new shirt, my boyfriend bought me from EverOurs, which is a really cute online shop, I love it. I stumbled across it a few months ago, and I just can't help myself with loving almost everything they sell. It helps that everything is really reasonably priced, and then they lower prices again in their sales!

I'm wearing my Jamie ankle grazer jeans from Topshop which are dark burgundy, I love these jeans they go with practically everything I own, and they are so comfy; more like a jegging but they are still as thick as usual jeans. Amazing!
Along with these I'm wearing my Topshop boots I bought ages ago, and I've worn them to death. Would love another pair when these finally go.

As I've already said I'm wearing a shirt from EverOurs, it is gorgeous with skulls all over it, just my cup of tea! I thought I'd take a few close ups to show you these as they are difficult to see in the photo above.

I couldn't believe when this went into sale, I'd wanted it for so long and was going to buy it when it was full price so when it went to sale I was so excited. However my bank balance did not agree, (even though it was only £10 with £2.50 postage) so because my boyfriend is such a babe, he bought it for me.

I'm off out in a bit, to an ice cream parlour - I know it's cold but come on...ice cream.
Hope you all have a brilliant day, whatever you're doing.

A fashionable bumbag?!

"Fashionable" and "bumbags" are two words that are never seen in the same sentence, however Urban Outfitters seem to have come up trumps with this one. With the studs, fringing and leather, what more could you want?!
I like how there is two pockets, one in the back where you can hide your money and the main big pocket in the front for all your other bits and pieces.
This would be perfect for Reading festival, I have been looking for a bag that is safe and I know I can keep all of my things on me without losing things out of it. I came across this beauty on the Urban Outfitters website and naturally I fell in love.

It is however really expensive, at £28, which is fair enough because it is real leather and really beautiful. But on my budget I really can't afford it, however I might look into making my own version, but I'll keep you updated if I do! Love a good old bit of D.I.Y!

Is the perfect leather jacket out there?

I've been trying for a while now to find the perfect leather jacket. I'm starting to think it's impossible, but I shall not give up trying to find it! I was specifically looking for a real leather jacket, as they last a long time, get better with age, also they smell really good.

My quest began when I started uni in September, where I realised I needed an ‘in between’ jacket, which I could wear wind, rain or shine! It needed to be light enough that it wouldn’t be too hot when walking around town throughout the year, but warm enough in the colder months. This would always be a challenge, because only a magic jacket would be able to do all those things.

The great thing about leather jackets is that they go with everything, making any outfit smart but also casual. I just love how they give your outfit a bit of an edge; it’s the easiest way to rock up any outfit. You can wear it with practically anything as well.

So I started looking around town and on websites to start my search off, however it was to no avail. All I was finding were fake leather jackets ending at the waist; these don’t flatter me at all, it’s a shame because a lot of the details on them are really pretty.

After spotting a few in the shops in the Southampton high street, I found one in Miss Selfridge, it was lush and perfect for what I wanted. It looked really cute, with a side zip, two little pockets and zips on the sleeves and even though it was fake leather I really didn’t mind. This meant it was a lot cheaper than leather jackets, but unfortunately it was out of stock within a few weeks. Which was obviously going to happen.
Miss Selfridge - £52

Then I stumbled upon one on the Topshop website, which is real leather and it looks perfect, I couldn’t ask for more, except to be able to try it before I bought it. Oh and also the price is a bit steep for my student budget; £165. This makes me think I might go for a fake leather jacket instead, as they are a lot cheaper!
Topshop - £165

So my quest for the perfect leather jacket is still carrying on, and it will carry on until I am successful! Hopefully it won’t be too long until I can hold it in my hands.
