Outfit - I bought the Tartan trousers!

Tartan Trousers - River Island - £35
Vest - Primark - old
Heels - New Look - old

After trying these trousers on in River Island about 3 different times, I decided what the heck. Seriously in love with these. I now want a lot more trousers, it just makes a really nice change from jeans.

I love the little details on these trousers, like the black lining on the pocket which is slightly on show, they also have detail on the waist band. They were £35 which is a bit pricey but I'm so glad I bought them! I wore them with my Primark chain vest top and New Look heels. I was going to wear this outfit out, hence the heels.

I also realised I really need some new really cute flat shoes, I have one pair and they're for work. How bad is that?!
How would you wear these tartan trousers?

Weekly Quick Pick - Coat in Pastel Blue

Notch Neck Throw On Coat - £75

I NEED THIS COAT.

I was just browsing through the Topshop website, and whilst looking through coats I found this beauty! I never thought I would want a coat this much.
It's just so...gorgeous.
I've got a real thing for pastel blue at the moment and this is just the perfect colour. Now I know it's really similar to an Oasis coat I posted in January, but I think this one wins. I like that it is a simple shape and has cute little pockets, so no annoying flap over the top.
The colour is a brighter blue, and I think it would match my skin tone a lot better.
All in all, I want this coat so badly! What do you think?

Nivea - Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover Review

Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-up Remover

I have been using this eye make up remover for a little while, it's the Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover. It is similar to the more expensive brands eye make up removers, which also come in two parts, however it is a lot cheaper.
I thought I would give it a go, as face wipes leave my eyes irritated (sensitive skin alert). The bottle states that it is suitable for all skin types, and that it 'effectively removes even waterproof mascara & eye make-up without irritating the sensitive eye area'.
Like I said I've been using this for a few weeks and to be honest I really don't like it. Even though it states it's gentle on sensitive eyes, I'm not sure if it really is. I feel like after using it I sometimes feel a slight sting, which is a shame.

The liquid is half oil and half a water based formula, which they state on their website for not leaving any of that annoying oily residue. However I found that once I've used this product, it leaves my eyelids with an grainy oily residue.
I am pleased that it takes of my make up well and pretty easily, but I probably will stop using this certain product, and try another brand.
It is such a shame as the price was really good (£3.59 in Boots) but I don't think it is right for my skin, this might be better for people who have less sensitive skin than I do.

Have you tried this make up remover, or any similar ones - what did you think?

Modcloth - Uniquely You Campaign.

Modcloth Outfit

Pink floral dress, £96 / Short coat, £54 / Fitted jacket, £39 / Brogue shoes, £27 / Dressy shoes, £20 / The Cambridge Satchel Company satchel bag, £105 / Ollie Nic faux leather tote, £64 / Dot umbrella, £9.68

I was very surprised and excited, when I was contacted by the lovely Amy over at Modcloth earlier this week. I was asked to be part of their Uniquely You campaign, so I thought I would give it a go. I had heard of Mod cloth before but never really had a proper look on their website, so after Amy contacted me I went straight over to their website.
I LOVE IT! Oh god, it is full of such cute little things. (I'm not saying this because of the competition by the way, I genuinely love it)

Anyway, for the competition, they provided me with one item, which was the Tango for Two Dress, then I had to use Polyvore to create a look by using up to seven Modcloth.com items.

It was a tricky one, I'm not going to lie. The dress is gorgeous, but I found it difficult to find the correct navy and pink, this is why I added the mint green. However I actually really love the mint with it, I think it makes it really fresh with spring time vibes.

I went for two looks in the end. The left look is more of the smart look, with the blazer, heels (which are my favourite) and the mint green satchel (also gorgeous!). The second look is more laid back, I used mint green flats, along with an oversized navy bag. I also decided to add a raincoat and an umbrella, as England is very rainy at the moment, so it shows you could still wear this dress even if the weather isn't great!

What do you think?

Outfit- £5 Dress!

This is believe it or not, a £5 dress. Who knew?
Primark seem to be doing so many of these at the moment, they have an 8 way fixture just full of skater dresses, all with different prints all for a fiver, in the one in Southampton. Uh-may-zing.

The sun was a welcome sight this morning as I opened my blinds. It was really lovely to see a bright blue sky with just a few white clouds.
So I decided I was going to wear a dress, which I don't often do to be honest. But I haven't been able to wear this one yet, so I thought it was time I whipped it out the wardrobe. Also I went for a lovely lunch with my Dad, at a gorgeous pub in the middle of the forest, so thought this outfit would do nicely.

I thought I would wear a necklace with this dress, but I didn't want anything too 'in your face' so I went for this simple one. My boyfriend bought me this for my birthday back in December, I can't remember where he said he got it from, but it is so cute.

I also wore my new make up which includes L'oreal Foundation, Lancome mascara, Rimmel Stay Matte powder and Benefit blusher. Which I will be doing a review on as soon as I can get my uni work under control. Third year is hard.

Quick Pick - River Island Trousers

I need your help, I went into River Island the other day and found a few bits I really loved, including a pair of checked trousers. I've wanted some checked trousers for so long, and I've finally found some that fit my legs, but I'm not sure whether they suit me or not.
What do you think?

To buy or not to buy, they are £35 so not the cheapest, and I love the jumper so if I do buy the trousers I will want to buy the jumper too.
Eeeeeek.
I also posted a blog sale yesterday, which can be found in the menu bar above, please take a look and comment if you want anything.
